Dave and Ian Smith enjoyed a competitive 36 Hole final on a blustery day at the golf club. Dave held a one shot advantage after the first 18 holes and extended that lead to 3 shots after 23 holes. Ian proved he was ready for the challenge and fought back to all square after 32 holes but Dave responded and eased away to close the match out on the 36th hole. A great final, congratulations to the players and thanks to those who organise and officiate these major competitions.
