Bailhache Cup retained by La Moye
On Sunday 22nd June RJGC hosted La Moye for the Bailhache Cup.
The weather was overcast, a little windy and rather cold for the morning Foursomes, but it brightened up for a very warm afternoon session of singles. All matches were played off scratch.
The morning session was more successful for La Moye, with the results finishing 3-1 to the visitors.
However, the afternoon singles were definitely a much stronger affair for The Royal - running out 5-3 for the home team.
The overall score finishing 6-6 meant that last years holder retained the cup.
A closely fought result in favour of La Moye.
