CAPTAIN'S WEEKEND
JULY 19TH & 20TH
Saturday July 19th
This year The Captain invites all 7-day members, Off Peak members and 5-day members (Gentleman, Ladies and Intermediates) to participate in what, it is hoped, will be a particularly social event on the first day of his weekend.
There will be a shotgun start at 8:00am
Entries will be restricted to 100 participants on a first come first served basis and thereafter a reserve list will be posted.
The format will be a Texas Scramble, with teams being drawn to include a mix of high and low handicappers. The entry fee will be £5 per person, payable on the day. To enter please add your name to the list posted from Saturday 6:30am on the main clubhouse noticeboard. Entries will close on Monday July 9th and the prize presentation will take place at 1:30pm in the clubhouse after the event.
Sunday July 20th
The format will be a Men's Alliance Stableford, i.e. a fourball, better ball, stableford scoring. White tees will be used with a handicap allowance of 85%.
Members wishing to play please add your names to the sheet in the Gent's Locker Room from Saturday at 6:30am.
Entries are initially confirmed to Full, Off Peak and Intermediate members. If there are still times available on Monday July 7th entries will be taken from 5-day members.
