Seniors win CAGU team title
Links GC Newmarket team win CAGU Seniors Club Title
On 27th June, Cambridge Area Golf Union (CAGU) held its annual seniors team championship – with 17 teams of three meeting at Girton Golf Club. Our team comprised Andy Price, Peter Bush and Dale Cole.
The dry and hard course was very challenging in the windy and hot conditions but Andy accumulated 35 pts with Peter and Dale each with 37 – all players in the top 5 of the field! With the best two scores counting, Newmarket won the overall team event beating St Neots by 1 pt.
A great performance by our team - the Links Seniors will look forward to defending their title next year.
