Member Notice Car Park Security
Please Be Vigilant
We regret to inform members that there was a recent incident in which a member’s van was broken into while parked in the club’s car park.
Unfortunately, golf clubs and similar venues are increasingly being targeted by thieves who drive into car parks specifically looking for vans and vehicles containing tools or valuables.
In response, the Board has approved the installation of an upgraded security system for the entrance gate. We expect this to be installed within the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime, we kindly ask all members to remain vigilant when parking at the club. Please ensure vehicles are locked and that no valuables are left in view.
This is the second theft to occur at the club. Both incidents were captured on CCTV and have been reported to the police.
