Dear Members,

Entry for the Ramsay Nicolson (36 Hole Nett Championships) will go live at 7pm on Saturday 16th August on the usual BRS competition booking system. The format of this competition is below:

Competition Date – Sunday 31st August 2025

Entry Fee - £10.00
(The Entry for both rounds, will be taken when you are signed in on the Friday before the competition. This allows cards to be produced for you to collect at registration in the morning in the lounge.)

Format – 36 holes individual medal – The winner will be the player who returns the best Nett score over 36 holes.

Prizes – Top 5 Nett, 1st Gross, Best Am & PM Nett (All prize winners must attend the prize giving following competition of the 2nd round)

How Ties Will Be Decided – Ties will be decided on best second round score
Handicap format – 95%.
Handicap Index Limit – 35.9
Two Tee Start - 1st and 10th.
Playing format – 3 balls for AM and PM round

Eligibility
Players must have 10 scores per rolling 12 months, 3 of which must be in a competition. These can be played at any course.

Entry will be based on a first come first serve basis. If the event is oversubscribed, then a waiting list will be in action.

How To Book
Booking will go live from 7pm on Saturday 16th August on the usual competition booking system BRS. Players will be able to book their morning tee time off either the 1st or 10th tees and are able to choose their playing partners. The Office will then book your afternoon tee time.
