24 members joined Sunday’s roll-up with the course at its spectacular best. The 2’s club honours went to Page Singletary and Anthony Pireddu - money back!
Third place was a bun-fight count back between Kate Lyons, Chas Bain and Enid Hughes the latter winning with the best back 9.
In second place, and our new Order of Merit leader, Liesl Mills came storming home with 38 points (yet another cut!) and top OOM points for her efforts.

This week’s, Sunday Roll-up winner, on only his second appearance, was Simon Kennedy who playing off 7, scored 39 points! Great show, Simon! Simon is cut by a shot going forward for the rest of Summer!
Next Sunday sees the Queen Mother’s competition taking out the early tee times (very best of luck to all playing in it) so Sunday roll up will start later in the morning
Ormston Salver
Bank Holiday Monday afternoon saw the Ormston Salver contested by 12 pairs. The Ormston is a mixed stableford better ball comp with a draw for partners. Course and conditions were fantastic and the drawn pairing of a very in-form IPC Ian Gibb and current Sunday Roll-up OOM leader Liesl Mills always looked a strong threat for the trophy

Many congratulations to Ian and Liesl who did run out winners coming in with 43 points. Pictured here with Captain Ron Lay who, with partner Malka James, claimed runner-up slot with 41 and Lady Captain, Lucia Albrecht, who came in third playing alongside Mike Stewart and also scored 41.
Thanks to all those who entered and lets see if we can add to it next year!
That’s All Folks!
