WPGC Junior Golf
News
Byron Greatbatch & Jake Harvey have played in several Junior Opens over the summer holidays. Jake finished 5th (nett) over 36 holes at Letchworth GC and they continued their good form at Sandy Lodge followed by The Grove Junior Open. The lush green fairways were more than welcome as both carded an impressive 80 gross.
Junior Singles Final (Matchplay)
Samuel Harris and Byron Greatbatch had an epic 5.5 hour battle on Sunday with the match going to 23 holes. Byron pipped Samuel on the 5th extra hole with excellent golf played by both.
Byron will also be playing in Tyrell Hatton's Junior Masters at Harleyford Golf Club on Sunday 31st August and the club wish him all the best!
In September we return to inter club matches against John O Gaunt (away) and Harpenden Common (home) and I look forward to updating with the results
