Ditching the Clubs
A team of hardy volunteers ditched their clubs for a morning on Wednesday and started work on clearing the sludge that has built up in the brook with the lack of rain and therefore limited water flow. Don Milligan, Paul Taylor, Jim Reynolds, Gary Denman and Colin Mitchell "Donned" their wellies and took their shovels to the brook.
Thanks to the team for their efforts and another session is planned for Monday if anyone else wants to help out. The Environment Agency are aware of the flow issues caused by blockages up and downstream from our land.
