Seniors Invitation Report
Senior Gentlemen’s invitation Meeting 2025
62 players played in the Senior Gentlemen’s Invitation on Thursday 12th August when the weather was fine and the course awaiting great golf.
The day started with a full English Breakfast plus a glass or two to settle the nerves and by 09.30 everyone was off to their allotted tees.
Scoring was excellent with the winners Michael Garrigan and Laurie Cassar from Copthorne scoring 45 points. They were hotly pursued by many scores in the 40s but the eventual Runners-up were Willie Dunn and John Harker from Littlehampton.
The Carvery which followed was truly excellent and everyone agreed that it was very special. Bob Crichton presented the prizes and Laurie thanked everyone for an excellent day.
Special thanks got to Debbie and her team with excellent carving from Pete. Also, very speedy work placing cards on the PSI by James and Steen; Brilliant. The course was declared as excellent, as usual, so everyone will be returning next year to enjoy the best of Bognor Regis Golf Club.
Truly Super dooper
