Yesterday saw the penultimate President's Medal and the last chance to qualify for the final next week. A big thanks goes to Amato's for sponsoring this season long competition.

70 golfers took to the course yesterday in some wet and windy conditions. Aaron Brannan took the best gross on the day and the best nett in Div 1 with a nett 68. He went out in 38 and back in 36 for a solid 74. His good showing has moved him into second trailing only one person for the OOM title. Paul Fiddler beat Chris Wildgoose to second place winning on countback both with nett 69s.

In Div 2, David Carrigan's nett 66 was good enough to win. He had a solid back nine of two over 38 in some very tricky rainy conditions. Paul Langorne took second and Phil Routledge in third.

Kevin Wooldridge leads the Order of Merit after a consistent showing of performances this year, shown by his handicap coming down. He leads by 70 points from Aaron Brannan who is showing good form going into the final round. Anyone in the top 8 could still make their way to the top of the leader board with 250 points available for winning and a further 50 if they can grab the best gross as well.
