Our greenstaff have reported a number of divots taken out of the 6th, 7th, 12th and 17th greens on Friday and/or Saturday (photos attached). The divots are in locations and at an orientation where the damage caused is clearly a result of hitting golf balls from the putting surface into surrounding trees and fields. This is wholly unacceptable behaviour on the part of those who have caused unnecessary damage to our greens.

Please would all members be vigilant in checking for and reporting observations of any instances of this nature. This will help us potentially identify those responsible by review of the tee sheet. It is also recognised that these may also be caused by unauthorised access to our golf course outwith normal Clubhouse/Pro Shop operating hours. Please would members report any observations to either Martin Davidson or Drew McKechnie.
