Stableford, Guest Day and the Sunday Roll-up
Midweek Stableford - Arthur Charlesworth Cup
55 players took to the course last Wednesday for the Midweek Stableford - Arthur Charlesworth Cup.
Congratulations Anthony De Unger coming in with 42 points, a full four clear of second place Ian Stidworthy, with Michael Edwards third on 37.
Anthony’s very impressive 72 also got him best gross.
Hole 14 played easiest at an average 0.84 over par and 10 hardest at 1.84 over.
Guest Day
With the NewsRoom confined to desk, plus lack of sub-ed in attendance, not a great deal to report on The Guest Day other than a good time had by all.

Congratulations to the winning team of Gary Dawson, Neil Arnott, Emile Charbine and Glen D’Sa coming in with 92 points.
Runners up were Ally Dunn, Dave Lymburn, Andrew Osborne and Dermot Drinan on 91 points.
In third place with 90 points and pictured above, with the Captain, were Kara Catt, Liesl Mills, Lee Prinsepp and Peter Sullivan.
Sunday Roll-up
There were 31 members playing in glorious conditions on Sunday morning. Mike Hanak, Keith Berry, Chas Bain, Jeremy Glanville-Jones, Peter Stocks and John Ingles all got a ‘two’ and their cash back.
In third place with 39 points was Chas Bain. Jonty Abare took second place with 41 points. Our winner, again, this week with 42 points was Kate Lyons.
