Lytham Green Drive has been selected by Lancashire Golf to host the Inaugural County Championships for Golfers with Disabilities on 18th and 19th September. The event is being run in partnership with the EDGA as part of the European Order of Merit and the hope is that this will be a groundbreaking event that will inspire other counties and organisations to do the same.

You will see they have the tee for practice rounds on Wednesday and there are no tee times available on Thursday and Friday 18th, 19th of September.

One of the main issues will be parking. As the competitors will need extra space for accessing wheelchairs from cars if you do come to the club please be aware we will have volunteers helping with parking and the car park itself will have limited spaces to ensure all competitors can access our facilities.

With this in mind we are looking for approximately 15 members to meet, greet and assist with parking, direction and to welcome all the competitors. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Sarah or Ian in the office stating what times you would be able to help.
