Castle Ave Road Works : Fri 19/09 - Mon 22/09
Half day road closure Mon 22nd Sept
Dear fellow golfers as you are probably aware Castle Avenue (the estate road entrance) is in a state of disrepair and now requires attention to bring it up to an acceptable standard.
The existing road surface is to be cut to form a new joint with the A811 and work is planned to commence on Friday 19th September with disruption to and from the Golf Club anticipated. The final day of work is Monday 22nd September, but this will entail a half day closure with NO ACCESS TO THE GOLF CLUB FROM THE A811 on Monday. The half mark road will provide access to the golf club, but this is not the best of roads.
The tee sheet for Monday 22nd September has been endorsed with a reminder to those who wish to play golf on that day.
Full details of the work, including schematics will be posted on the Gents, Ladies and Mixed notice boards from Friday 12th September.
