CADS gala dinner transforms clubhouse
CADS is a Golf society comprised primarily of members of the Links Golf Club. It began with four customers and the landlord of the Carpenters Arms public house in Newmarket. This year has been the society’s 50th anniversary culminating in its gala dinner held at the club on 19th November – which transformed the clubhouse for 74 diners in resplendent fashion. A harpist entertained guests over canapes, followed by an excellent meal prepared by Bodec and his team. A professional toastmaster guided the proceedings including a professional comedian/impressionist.
