It was great to see so many good scores coming in over the weekend! Despite a couple of holes being shortened, it did not stop some bumper scoring, with 19 players hitting their handicap or better.

Handicap secretary Greg Hester finished 2nd in division 2 with 42 points and will no doubt be keep a close eye on scores over the next couple of months as we enter qualifying conditions.

In division 1, George Blakeway (pictured outside of golf club life in his Yellowstone ranch cowboy outfit) showed his class with a gross 71 and 41 points to take top spot on countback from Steve Blocksridge.

The score of the day went to Matt Richardson (pictured with a full head of hair), who shot a massive 43 points to take top spot in Division 2.

This weekend's competition is to be played over Foxes and Badgers (weather permitting) lets hope for more of the same scoring.
