Course Update

Due to the current weather conditions, with rainfall continuing and further rain forecast, it is unfortunately too early at this stage for us to confirm whether the course will be open tomorrow.

A final assessment will be made in the morning, and the course status will be updated as soon as possible.

HowDidiDo App Problem

It appears as though the new app currently has a problem with tee booking. When you select a day, other than today, it is showing that the tee sheet won't go live until 00:01 am that day. For example, if you try to book a tee time for tomorrow, it is saying the bookings don't go live until after midnight tonight.

The Club V1 Members Hub app (the old app) is still live and tee booking is working as normal through this app.

This is extremely frustrating, and I have raised it with Club Systems but, they are yet to resolve the issue.

In the meantime, you can use the Club V1 Members Hub or contact the Pro Shop and they will book for you.

Clubhouse Update

We are aware that a number of members have been frustrated by the presence of fruit flies in the clubhouse, and we want to thank you sincerely for your patience while we address this issue.

The problem was traced back to a leak in a lime juice line located in an enclosed area beneath the bar, which unfortunately went undetected for some time. This was repaired early in the New Year, and since then we have had specialist contractors attend on two occasions over the past two weeks to treat the affected areas.

We are now beginning to see positive progress and will continue with further specialist treatments over the coming weeks to ensure the issue is fully resolved. In addition, our team is carrying out daily deep cleaning across all relevant areas to eliminate any remaining sources and prevent further breeding.

Thank you again for your understanding and patience while we work to overcome this problem. Please be assured that this remains a priority for us, and we will continue to take all necessary steps to resolve it as quickly and effectively as possible.

200+ Club

Firstly - a note for your diaries. This year’s Grand August event is taking place on Saturday 8th August. Following amazing feedback from last year, we have re-booked Beth for our evening entertainment. Everyone agreed she was a brilliant act -
a night not to be missed!

Kindly drawn by Cat this month’s results are as follows:-

£100. No. 78. Denise Rattray
£75. No. 157. Roger Selway
£50. No. 201. Paul Hill
£25. No. 87. Mark English
Golf Voucher. No. 171 Cameron Lang

Congratulations to all - a good start to the year!

Regarding projects, we can confirm we have contributed £3,500 towards the cost of the new hole signs which we understand are to be installed shortly. The next main project is the replacement of the Spike Bar chairs. Initially purchased by the 200 Club and having been professionally cleaned twice, the consensus is that they should be replaced by similar but less heavy
chairs. We are still searching - particularly on bankrupt stock sites. If anybody knows of anything suitable please contact us.

Also - please, as ever, let us know of any future projects you consider would improve our Club.

Very best wishes
Derek and Debbie
