GG Vaudin Trophy 2026
Swemmer & Broughton triumph!
The latest in the Winter Shotgun Start series of competitions, the GG Vaudin Trophy, was played earlier today in surprisingly dry conditions.
The field took advantage of the fine conditions with the top nine places all having 40 points or more in the Greensomes stableford format.
Winning the Trophy with 43 points was the pairing of Anton Swemmer and Rob Broughton off their team handicap of 7. They had 21 points on the front 9 which included a birdie at the first hole, and 22 points on the back nine with a birdie 2 at the 15th.
Runners-up with 41 points (on a countback) were John Pendergast and Chris Matthews off their team handicap of 21.
In third place were Kevin Therin and Scott Mackie again with 41 points playing off a team handicap of 7.
