Texas “Shamble”

A “shamble” is a golf competition that mixes the texas scramble format with a better ball.
(FYI - course maintenance 16th to 27th March)
• On every hole the best 2 scores will count for the team score
• Par 3’s – Each player plays their own ball for the entire hole
• Par 4’s & 5’s – It’s a Scramble off the tee (ie you select the best tee shot) each player then plays their own ball in from the selected tee shot.
On the Par 4’s & 5’s you must use a minimum 3 drives per player (4 drives per player for teams of 3).

The Shambles is open to all playing members, entry fee is £5 per person. Members who do not have weekend playing rights will also have to pay a £10 supplementary green fee.
Members without a handicap index can play but will receive no more than zero shots.
