Course improvements
Tomorrow, our new bunkers will have their porous lining installed, with surrounding areas being turfed from Thursday onwards.
On Monday, we will begin essential aeration work following the exceptionally wet winter. This will involve verti-draining using 19mm solid tines to a depth of 10 inches, followed by a heavy top dressing that will be brushed in. The verti-drain will also be used on approaches and tees, as it has been hired for the week.
In addition, we have hired an industrial stump grinder, which will be used to remove unsightly tree stumps across the course.
Please note that, due to the extent of this work, some holes may be temporarily closed or shortened while work is in progress.
