Sunny day for Spring Whitehouse Cups
Ten teams contested the Spring Whitehouse Cups playing the tricky format of foursomes medal, but with the course playing well some very good scores were recorded with 4 gross birdies on the day by Lesley Curnock and Fraser, Sand and Matt Langmead, Lyn Rogers and Neil Croft and Margaret Roberts and Will Winterburn.
Winning the Cups with a brilliant score of nett 64 were Deb Martin and Gordon Davidson, second place went to Margaret Roberts and Will Winterburn with nett 66 beating Lyn Rogers and Neil Croft on countback into third place.
All teams had a good afternoon in the beautiful weather, and 23 players and family enjoyed an excellent roast produced by our fantastic caterers to finish the day off.
