Boys Spring Meeting 4th May 2026
Dear Member,
We would like to highlight an excellent opportunity for our junior golfers to represent Lanarkshire Golf Association at the upcoming Boys Spring Meeting.
This 18-hole tournament will take place at Wishaw Golf Club on Monday 4th May 2026, with tee times from 11am. The entry fee is £12, and the event is open to LGA members under 18 (as of 1st January 2026) with a handicap index not exceeding 36.4.
There are still a limited number of last-minute places available, and we are keen to see a strong representation from Wishaw. At present, we have only one junior entered, and it would be fantastic to have more of our young members taking part in this great local competition.
If you would like to enter your child, please do so as soon as possible - parents are asked to contact Kenny McLean of the LGA directly at secretary@lanarkshiregolf.com.
We are also pleased to announce we have a new new Junior Convenor for Wishaw Golf Club, Stephen McDonald, who has just taken up the role this week. Stephen is currently developing plans for the junior section and will be in touch with members, parents, and junior golfers soon.
