On a beautiful sunny day, which showed our course off to its full glory, one of our new members, Duncan Gracie triumphed in our annual mixed stableford competition, the Clinton Vase which was played for on Bank Holiday Monday

Duncan scored a fantastic 43 points edging out long term leader Will Hendry (42 pts) into 2nd place with plucky Paul Smith (40 pts) getting on to the winners podium.

Special mentions should also go to:-

Simon Harding with an ace on the 10th ( playing off the back 62 plus tee)
Tyler Storry - our junior continuing his hot streak of form with 39 points
Helen Natrass - another new (ish) member who was leading lady this year with 36 points, just pipping Jane Walker on count-back

In total 130 players enjoyed the conditions and course set up by Newks and the boys.

Conor and team largely “watered" the players with sadly, few taking up the food offerings on the day!!!
