Some great golf was played on the day with the winning professional being Richard Woods from Dainton Park who shot a -2 round of 68 - going out in 34 with two birdies and one bogey, coming back in 34 with the same two birdies and one bogey.
Richard played alongside East Devon team of Jon Axon, John Neil and Matt Blower who clearly gave him some excellent advice!
Richard is pictured with Charlotte Britton, PGA organiser, Ian Crook and Bill Roper from Avocet Wealth Partnership and Club Captain Martin Wisdom.
The team event was won by a team from Clevedon Golf Club , with 91 points, narrowly beating Malcolm Bakers team ( Andy Procter, Rosie Baker and Pro Adam Curtis) who had won the event in the past two years who just missed out, scoring 89 points.
Martin thanked the green keeping, house team, main office and Pro shop teams for ensuring the day went as planned and especially the volunteers who helped with ball spotting and refreshments at the half way house.
Rob Anderson and colleagues from the RNLI also raised £670 to help Jim Brooks with his RNLI fundraising climbing challenge on the 13th hole
A special mention to Barry Clayton who has coordinated the event for the past three years, which has raised over £6,000 for the club in this period
Lastly, a big thank you to the main sponsors and individual hole sponsors without whose generosity the event would not be possible
A great day showing off East Devon GC in the best light
