Men's RNLi Stableford Results 129 men played in the RNLi Stableford competition over the weekend. Congratulations to Richard Burtenshaw for winning the competition with 43 points. Ladies Shotgun Trophy Results 56 ladies played in the Shotgun Trophy competition last Tuesday. Congratulations to Katie Field and Karen Harding for winning with 43 points. Teresa Byrne and Sharon Reynolds came second with 40 points. Berit Smallcorn and Sue Meloy were third with 39 points on countback from Andrea Cooper and Lou Colvin. The full results are attached. Ian Pettie Memorial A message from your Club Captain and Chris Pettie about the Ian Pettie Memorial Day: We are looking forward to welcoming you all to the Memorial Day on Saturday 20th June for Ian Pettie, our Past Captain and President. The format of the competition is a Team Waltz, played in fours (teams can be men, mixed or ladies) with an entry fee of £7.50 per person. There will be winners and runners-up and nearest the pin prizes, and all the proceeds for the day will go to our respective Captains' charities. The club will be unveiling 4 bench seats situated around the oak tree by the 18th green, one of which is in memory of Ian, who originally planted the tree. On the same day there will be a bottomless brunch and, as your club Captain, I will also be drawing the winners for the Win Your Membership sweep. We are also running a silent auction for two separate golf vouchers, one a 3 ball to play with Chris on the world renowned St George's Hill Golf Club (greenfees are around £300 per person) and the other a 4 ball voucher for West Byfleet GC in Woking (up to £125 per person).
