President's Day 18th July 2026 Dear members, my President's Day is on 18th July 2026. There will be a 4 ball team competition with tee times from 7.30am until 1.30 pm. This is open to all gentlemen and lady members. The format will be advised nearer the time but expect some interesting challenges on some of the holes. Refreshments will be available at the Halfway House. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 teams, expected to be around 6.00 pm on the terrace. The booking system will be unlocked at 6.30 pm on the 10th July. In the evening, there will be a 3 course dinner with some home grown entertainment. Dress code is smart casual and it will start at 6.45 pm. A choir comprising members of the club will be performing a selection of well known songs. Frank Wilson is on piano and I have enlisted Paul Glossop and our chairman Alan Chapman to add some professionalism to the occasion. Apart from being members of the choir, they will each be singing a solo from Les Miserable. Not to be missed. It is hoped that we can fill the club for what should be a great evening. The entertainment is free and the cost of the evening is only £35 per person, drinks excluded! Please book at the bar.
