The Captains Committee would like to remind all members of the importance of notifying the Professional Shop as soon as possible if you are unable to play in a competition that you have entered. We understand that plans can change and that, on occasion, members may need to withdraw at short notice. However, failing to advise the Club that you will not be attending can have a significant impact on fellow competitors. It may leave playing partners waiting on the tee, reduce the enjoyment of the competition for others, or prevent another member from taking up an available place. If you find that you are unable to play, please contact the Professional Shop at the earliest opportunity so that we can amend the draw and, where possible, offer your place to another member. The Captains Committee hopes that all members will appreciate the importance of this courtesy and will help us ensure that competitions run as smoothly as possible for everyone. Please note that repeated failures to attend a booked competition without notifying the Club and without good reason may result in further action being taken by the Captains Committee.
