Look at that wee happy face.That’s the face of Hugh Murphy, 81 years young who just won his division in this weekend’s Watt Medal with a superb nett 63.
We don’t keep records on such things, but I’d be surprised if there have been many older Watt Medal winners in our 149 year history. We look forward to seeing Hugh tee it up next year in the Watt Medal final at the ripe old age of 82.
