We understand that the V1 app is being withdrawn from use at the end of this year and is to be replaced entirely by the HowDidiDo app. Next year,it will be a requirement of entry to the knockouts that your contact details are visible on the new HDID app so please get ahead of the game and change your privacy settings now in readiness for next season.
**Social Play from White Tees**
Please be reminded that the white tees are for competition play only and social play from the white tees is not allowed.
**Sunday Nearest the Pin Competitions and Hole-in Ones**
We would like to inform all members that should you achieve a hole-in-one in any of our competitions, you will be rewarded with a prize of £50.00 which will be added to your gold card account and can be used towards your bar bill. We regret that this award is limited to competition play only and no prize will be awarded for an 'ace' in social play.
Please note that if you achieve a hole-in-one on the 10th hole in the Sunday Competition, this will now not count as a win in the Nearest the Pin competition and you should not move or enter your name on the nearest the pin marker.
**Drawn Competitions**
The last of the Sunday 'drawn' competitions this season will be Ajex Medal on 23rd August, 2026. Booking will open via the V1 and HDID apps on Monday August 3rd 2026 at 0800.
We want to know how you have felt about the 'drawn' competitions this year and how you would like to see them continue next season. If you are playing in the Jubilee Trophy/Par 3 Challenge on Sunday, there will be a slip for you to complete and post into the scorecard box. If you are not playing and would like to have your say, please email us at handicapandcomp@leeparkgolfclub.co.uk letting us know whether the drawn competitions should remain at one per month, be increased to two per month or whether all major competitions (approx 12 per season) should be drawn.
**Slow Play**
Please be reminded that whether you are in competition or playing socially we like to see the course move at an acceptable rate. If you lose ground to the game in front, please don't hesitate to call the game behind through.
As ever, if you have any questions, queries, compliments or constructive criticisms, we can be reached at handicapandcomp@leeparkgolfclub.co.uk where we will be pleased to hear from you.
Best wishes
Paul Graff (Chairman)
