Smoking Ban – Effective Immediately
Due to the current hot and dry weather conditions, and the increased risk of grass fires, the Committee has taken the decision to ban smoking on the golf course with immediate effect and until further notice.
This decision follows a complaint regarding a discarded cigarette that was still smouldering on the course, highlighting the very real fire risk to the course and surrounding areas.
All members and visitors are expected to comply with this temporary ban. Any person found breaching this restriction will be subject to disciplinary action.
