Morton Bailey is playing in the English Amateur this weekend and has just secured his place in the final. His semi final match against Kipp Popert went to the 20th hole! Morton is playing with West Hove as his home Club which is wonderful and I know the Club could not be more proud of him. He has already achieved a so much at such a young age, but to reach the final is an amazing achievement. We will all be cheering him on tomorrow when he takes on Jamie Van Wyk from Royal Lytham & St Annes. The event is played at BEAU DESERT GOLF CLUB in the west midlands. Morton qualified 5th in the 36 hole qualifying rounds played earlier in the week. He shot 7 under par with a first round 65 followed by 70, to make it through the match play stage.
