Links great showing in County Men's Seniors
John Yuill retains his Masters Trophy
On 28th July, the CAGU county seniors tournament was held at Gog Magog with a great turnout of Links members – 12 out of the total field of 66 drawn from 13 clubs. On a very hot day in challenging conditions, Links members also had a great showing on the leaderboards with John Yuill (pictured right) retaining his Masters Trophy with a gross 83 and Paul Young third placed in the nett standings with 71. Steve Chisnall, John Yuill and Barry Peak secured three of the four nearest-the-pin awards and Andrew Durman took the longest drive.
