Dear Members, This is a reminder that the Albert Mitchell Club Championship will be played on Sunday 16th August. The Albert Mitchell is our 36-hole Scratch Championship, with both rounds being played on the same day. This prestigious event is open to both male and female members. Please note the following conditions: Maximum Handicap Index: 15.0 This is a scratch competition, with the Club Champion decided over 36 holes. Please note: Although entry is restricted to members with a Handicap Index of 15.0 or below, the championship is still played entirely on gross scores. The handicap restriction is simply in place to help manage the size of the field for what is a demanding 36-hole championship played in one day. Handicaps play no part in deciding the Club Champion. The John Wright Trophy is our 36-hole Handicap Championship and is a men's competition. It will be played over two separate Saturdays: Round 1: Saturday 22nd August Round 2: Saturday 29th August Please also note that the maximum Handicap Index for the John Wright Trophy is 28.0, in accordance with the club's trophy competition conditions for men's trophy events. Booking Sheet Members booking as a single player may be moved to another tee time to ensure everyone has a playing partner. Please bear this in mind when booking and, where possible, allow a little flexibility to help the Competition Committee with the draw.
