Sudden death play-off win for Sue
Sue Davis (left) won her 6th consecutive club championship in thrilling style with a birdie on the 2nd extra hole against Zing Zhang.
Both players shot 159 gross with Zing catching Sue’s 4 shot lead from round 1.
Both hit great drives on the 2nd extra hole, Zing hit her approach to about 15ft , but Sue hit her pitch stone dead, Zing had to make her putt to extend the play-off , but her putt narrowly missed leaving Sue with a tap in to take the trophy.
The Farrant Vase was equally as tense as the mens handicap with Corrina Smith (right ) taking the trophy of the back 9 holes having both finished on 147.
