Members Reminder
Bunkers
A Reminder to All Members – Taking Pride in Our Course Dear Members Attached is a picture of 1 of the bunkers on our course, which is a totally unacceptable way for a bunker to be left for the next person to play from. Our golf course is one of the club's greatest assets, and it is the responsibility of every one of us to help maintain the high standards we all enjoy. We would like to remind all members of the importance of caring for our bunkers. If you enter a bunker, please rake it thoroughly before leaving, ensuring footprints and any disturbed sand are smoothed over and the rake is replaced neatly, taking an extra few moments leaves the bunker in good condition for the players who follow. The responsibility doesn't end with the individual player, every member of the playing group should ensure the bunker has been properly raked before moving on. We also encourage groups to politely remind one another if a bunker has been overlooked. Likewise, if you notice the group ahead has unintentionally left a bunker unraked, a courteous reminder helps maintain the standards we all expect. Looking after the course is a shared responsibility and reflects the pride we have in our club and respect for our fellow members. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in keeping our course in the best possible condition for everyone. Bathgate Golf Club Council
