The Week 044 - Monday 7th September
The Week – Monday 7th September Dear Members, September has truly arrived and we have found ourselves getting some rain on most days. We have a mixed bag this week as far as the weather goes, with temperatures sitting in the low 20’s and the chance of rain on most days. What is most pleasing is that the course is slowly but surely bursting back to life, and dare I say it, starting to look a lot greener. Catering Corner Emma and Tom have the whole week covered, however there will be a limited menu on Thursday and Friday as there will be a lot of prep work going on to cover a couple of large events on those days. It has been 92 years since the club has won a county competition so once again, on behalf of the club, many, many congratulations to everyone that has been involved with the Parks Team this year. Preferred Lies Preferred Lies are now on full time with immediate effect, with the ground starting to soften, it is even more important that the divot bags are taken out on the course and used appropriately. Have a good week, happy golfing. Mark Coltman Club Manager
