Seckford win Charity Day
Last Friday, 11th September, saw another successful day fund raising through the Marie Hunt Trophy. Once again the charity was the Dora Brown Charity based in Ipswich, helping families in crisis. Dora Brown Charity - What We Do
This year's winners (on countback) were a late entry team from Seckford, scoring 46 in the Texas Scramble. The winning team of Harry Woor, Steve Cole, Tom Cole and Barry Grant are pictured with Organiser Lizzie Blowers.
Once all the money is in, we expect to have raised in the region of £3,000 for the charity.
Our thanks got to all those who entered, donated prizes, cooked the meal, and of course to Lizzie for organising such a successful event.
