Past Presidents Competition 2026
On Tuesday, the Past Presidents played for the annual Past President's Trophy. Ted Roberston won the Competition with 36 points, 20 on the front 9 and 16 on the back. 'Nail biting' is a term over used in a sporting context and it definitely couldn't be used here! Ted had a comfortable three point advantage over second place.
The 'field' of 9 had over 250 year's of membership of Ashton On Mersey between them. A photo of the Past presidents is in the Gallery on the website.
