Congratulations to this year’s Club Championship winner, our very own Greg Diddams Greg shot a gross 69 on Saturday followed it up with a 78 Sunday finishing with a gross 147 5 shots ahead of both Jay Fenn and Mike Evans both finishing with 152. Some brilliant golf as usual. Greg first won the trophy back in 1996 when the club opened, since then there have been 2 other multiple winners, Darren Martin with 8 and Mike Evans also with 7. Since 2020 Greg has been on a winning streak, with the exception of 2024 when Connor Lang won it Greg has won 6 out of the last 7 years. Congratulations Greg fantastic achievement, thoroughly deserved. Well, done to the other placings you should be very proud and thanks to everyone who took part. This year’s Nett trophy winner was Chris Tappin, well done Chris for pulling 2 rounds of great golf together over the 2 days. It’s all too easy to mess up on the 2nd day when under pressure. You couldn’t have wiped the smile off his face if you tried, clearly very happy well done.
