Alistair Henderson continues his awesome season winning the McInally Trophy with a 6 & 5 victory over Alex Bathgate in a 36-hole final. In the first round Alex struck first taking the 1st hole, but Alistair quickly responded with a hot putter on the front nine. Henderson won 5 of the next 8 holes to reach the turn 4-up, then extended his lead to 6-up with wins on the 10th and 12th. The first round ended with Alistair 6 up and Alex with a mountain to climb. Alex fought back early in the second round, cutting the deficit to 4-down through 7 holes. After a missed opportunity for Alex on the 8th, Alistair reclaimed momentum on the 9th to go 5-up. He then got a good up-and-down from the bunker on the 10th to move 6-up before closing out the win on the 13th (6 & 5).
