TGC Seniors Raise Funds for Tenterden Museum
Supporting the local community!
Members of Tenterden Golf Club’s Seniors’ Section have continued their tradition of fundraising for local and national causes by helping to provide a new display case for Tenterden Museum. This year, the Seniors raised funds to purchase a much-needed display case to house the historic Baron of the Cinque Ports Mayoral Robes, helping to ensure the important local artefact can be displayed and preserved for visitors to enjoy. The new display case was formally presented at the museum on 8th October. Pictured alongside the case are museum curator Naomi Dickins and Tenterden Golf Club 2026 Seniors’ Captain Graham Baldwin. Also attending the presentation were several members of the club, including two who volunteer at the museum, together with Club Captain Roland Cooper. The donation reflects the Seniors’ Section’s ongoing commitment to supporting worthwhile causes and contributing to the local community, helping Tenterden’s heritage remain accessible for future generations.
