Winter Tees
When the black tee winter course is being used all grass teeing areas are defined as No-Play Zones.
If a player’s ball comes to rest on or within any grass teeing area, or if the teeing area interferes with the player’s stance or the area of their intended swing, the player must take free relief under Rule 16.1f.
Exception
Only if playing from the red tees, the teeing area of the hole being played remains a normal teeing area and is not a No-Play Zone.
Penalty for Playing a Ball from a No-Play Zone:
