Captain's Drive-In A huge welcome and congratulations to our new Captains for 2026/27: Men's Captain - Ivor Roy Ladies' Captain - Caroline Lea Junior Captain - Max Hickling Despite the cold and damp conditions, there was a fantastic turnout from members who came along to support the first drive of the season. The three Captains certainly got their year off to a great start, achieving a combined drive distance of an impressive 540 yards! Following the Drive-In, everyone gathered in the clubhouse to warm up with sandwiches, tea and coffee, while waiting for the raffle and auction of 4-ball vouchers, providing a fantastic start to fundraising efforts for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity, which both Captains have proudly chosen to support throughout the year. As Ivor, Caroline and Max begin their year as Captains, we wish them an enjoyable and successful season ahead. May your drives be long, your putts be true, and your year be filled with great golf, good company and lasting memories.
